E-C Eng. & Mfg. has four basic Router models: EC-7C,
EC-7C-2, EC-10, and EC-250.
The EC-7C and EC-7C-2 Routers have a compact
design which allows them to be hand operated as well
as being fixture mounted. The router nose is easily
adjusted for different cutting depths. The EC-7C-2 Router
is a variation of the EC-7C Router. The EC-7C-2 has
a steel housing (instead of aluminum), larger double
bearings on the collet end, and a one piece shaft design
that uses universal type collets.
The EC-10 Router is a high-torque router
designed for heavy production routing in a fixture mounted
configuration. With its greaseable double thrust bearings
on the collet end, large motor components, and rigid
shaft design, this router is ideal for those “heavy
duty” jobs.
The EC-250 Router is designed to do “Routing
Jobs.” The slim body, high speed, light weight,
and the double precision bearings located in the front
of the motor housing as close to the router bit as possible
make this tool very suitable for precision straight
or contour cuts in non-ferrous material such as aluminum,
composite, and fiberglass. In other words, this is NOT
a modified die-grinder even if it can be used as such.
